Breast Cancer Support Group for Young and Mid-Life Women

Audience:  Women ages 30 to 50 years of age with breast cancer

Class Length:  1 hour, the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 5:30 to 6:30PM, beginning March 22, 2016

  This is a facilitated support and education group that will offer the opportunity for women to connect with their peers with breast cancer.

The group will provide a safe opportunity to explore issues such as:

  • coping with body image changes following mastectomy
  • the emotional impact of breast cancer in relationships
  • nutrition and exercise
  • parenting
  • transitions to work
  • intimacy and sexuality
  • coping with side effects
  • integrative treatments,and
  • survivorship

Topical guest speakers will be invited to speak on issues as requested by the group.
